Maverick Made. was never meant to follow the rules. What began as a personal project that was a leather strap for a motorbike turned into a commitment: to create dependable, handcrafted pieces that speak for themselves. No luxury fluff, no hype. Simply honest leatherwork designed to age well and feel right in hand.

How It Started

It began with a Triumph Bonneville and the want for a tank strap. There was no grand plan, just a desire to make something with care and something built to last. That first piece taught us what we needed to know: quality isn't about perfection; it's about intention, attention, and doing the work by hand.

Why We Make

We make leather goods for those who value thoughtfulness over trend, and function over flash. Each piece is stitched, cut, and burnished in small batches. They're made to be used, worn, and passed on. We believe things get better with time, and your everyday carry should too.

How We Source

We use full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, sourced responsibly as a by-product of the food industry. Our suppliers are small tanneries that care about what they make and how they make it. No shortcuts, no synthetic leather disguised as “eco.” Just real materials, handled with respect.

Meet the Maker

I'm Shaun, a self taught designer, craftsman, and founder of Maverick Made. I started working with leather in 2020, during the long days of lockdown in Singapore. What began as a way to keep my hands busy became something deeper - a craft I’ve grown with, shaped by trial, error, and quiet persistence. Every product is still built with that same mindset: make it well, keep it real, and let the work speak for itself.
